This particular sauna is made with Canadian Red Cedar. This type of wood is very beautiful and gives the sauna a luxury feeling. The wood is has a great aroma and is able to fight rot very well.
The wood panels of this sauna are built with tongue and groove construction. This allows the sauna to be very sturdy while also still being easy to build.
Within the sauna, itself are 7 powerful carbon fiber heating panels. These panels are placed on the walls and feet of the sauna for the most efficient sauna experience possible.
Along with these heating panels is a built-in sound system, towel racks, magazine holders, and ergonomic backrests. For added visibility are multiple interior reading lights. There is also 2 windows and a glass door for natural light. The glass for the windows and door are bronze-tinted and made from tempered glass.
An awesome feature this sauna contains is both interior and exterior LED control panels. These panels allow you to set the temperature and duration of the sauna. Since there is one located outside you can simply set the sauna without getting inside of it. Give the sauna a few minutes and it’s ready to go.

For the best visibility the sauna is built with 2 windows and 1 door with tinted temper glass. This glass provides maximum visibility for the sauna and is built to insulate the sauna well. The glass is also very durable and can withstand the extreme temperatures that this sauna promotes.

Fourth on the review is the Almost Heaven Saunas 4 person outdoor traditional sauna. This particular unit is the same type of sauna that most people are used too (the type of sauna you see in most gyms or spas). Since this is so its gets much hotter than infrared saunas.
The Almost Heaven 4 person sauna is built with Canadian Red Cedar. This type of wood is known for its great looks, aroma, durability, and ability to fight rot. Since this is so the sauna is perfect for handling the wear and tear that the outdoors bring.
To heat this sauna is a powerful 4.5kw sauna heater. The heater requires a 220v/30 amp service and sauna stones to work. Once set up properly this heater can effectively heat the sauna up completely. The highest temperature this heater can reach is 194 degrees F.
Within this sauna are two long benches. These benches allow 4 people so sit in the sauna comfortably. Unlike the above saunas there are no speakers or any other features inside the sauna. The sauna simply just heats up and that’s the whole experience.
With that being said there is one cool feature on the outside. This feature is a small porch. The porch is an attractive accent that provides a cool-down area and a place to set down towels or drinks. When testing this sauna we found ourselves consistently using this porch to cool down. So it’s an awesome feature that the other saunas don’t provide.
Construction for this sauna does take longer then the infrared sauna. This is because the design is a little different and the pieces are much larger. With that being said we were still able to build this sauna within a few hours.
Overall this is a great sauna. The porch feature really adds on to the value and just makes the sauna look good. So if you’re looking for a reliable traditional sauna then this is the option for you. Just be aware that it doesn’t have nearly the same features as the above saunas and is much more expensive than the above saunas.

Along with the traditional sauna this unit doesn’t have a whole bunch of features. It’s simply a regular sauna that gets very hot and has benches. Even though this is so the sauna shines in other ways. Specifically this sauna is great for the outdoors. Its durable wood, metal chimney, and shingled roof ensure that this sauna will last decades. Which is good since it cost a considerable amount of money.
Overall this is a great outdoor sauna that will last. It’s perfect for those who want an original sauna experience that the Finnish people first experienced. If you’re looking for a sauna with a lot of features then this might not be for you. Instead you should purchase the indoor infrared saunas above.
